What on earth is a RAMP?
You may well be wondering, as we were, what in the dickens is a RAMP? I’ve only just started getting my head around a PIM. Well don’t worry, we’ve looked into it can give you a good overview of what makes them different from other platforms, and what they are in essence.
No, it isn’t a an exciting bit of hardware to gain maximum air, it stands for Retail Asset Management and Publishing, and is yet another saas platform option for brands wanting to create, optimise, translate and share product listings and page content to retailers in multiple markets.
On the face of it, it sounds a lot like a PIM, DAM or PXM - but there are significant and subtle differences between them all, as well as some similarities.
